Imagine you went back in time - circa 2003.
The Idols were in charge of the TV screens and sheep ran the radio stations. All the newspapers were filled with propaganda about an illegitimate war ordered by an unelected president.
Like Jo Strummer said "London was burning with anxiety".
What do you do to get away from all this crap? You move.
You move as far away as you can and you end up in Australia.
Surf, fun and sun? You bet. Relief from the talons of torment that trail across the west? No way! The planet was infected with mediocraty.
So what do you do?
Start a revolution and take them all on, that's what!
Baria Records' focus is international.
We have friends in high and low places all over the world who are all working to the same ends.
Our project is to inject some life into the party so that you have more interest in things to think about than who is wearing Armani g strings this week.
We want to open the ears and your eyes of the sleeping world.
We want to reclaim the streets and reclaim your social lives.

PERSONNEL
It all started with the Beatles. My mum saw them at the cavern in the 60's and I came along a few years later. It's in my blood, along with hepatitis and residues of Jack Daniels. In fact without that gig and the kicking tunes of Martha Reeves I would probably be an accountant by now.
